Pupillage Seminar

Tuesday 28th November 2023 at 7pm on Zoom

187 Chambers will be hosting a free online seminar intended for anyone considering applying for pupillage at a criminal set of chambers in this gateway window or the next.

This will be a friendly, informal event lasting an hour or a little over. In the first half, there will be a series of short talks from members of chambers about applying for pupillage, life at the Criminal Bar and pupillage training, supervision, wellbeing and progression. In the second half the panel will attempt to answer your questions, which you can ask using the chat function or by raising a digital hand in the seminar.

Speakers: Introduction and welcome by Gideon Cammerman KC, Head of Chambers.

Panel: Subagarey Pathmanathan (pupillage committee), Rob Levack (management committee, former vice chair of junior CBA), Anna Keighley (pupillage and management committees), Avi Chaudhuri (chair of pupillage committee).
