Matthew Morgan & George Penny Complete Successful Prosecution of “County Lines” Operation

Matthew Morgan leading George Penny have recently completed the prosecution of a four-handed “county lines” drug case. The case involved the trafficking of drugs between London and Essex and the exploitation of a drug user’s home as a distribution base. Following close analysis of thousands of pages of evidence, Matt and George advised on the preparation of presentational materials and submitted an extensive written opening and agreed facts.
Shortly after the receipt of this material, guilty pleas were entered by all four defendants, who had maintained not guilty pleas for almost three years.
