David Lyons secured verdicts of not guilty in respect of one count of attempted rape and two counts of trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence.
On the remaining two counts, the Defendant, who had climbed into a second floor flat through the window in the mistaken belief that it was a brothel and assaulted the female occupier, offences to which he pleaded guilty, received twenty-two months imprisonment concurrent on each offence.
