Danielle Byford appeared for the defendant, who had been accused of s.18, wounding with intent and suffocation.
The prosecution case alleged the defendant stabbed the complainant to the back of his head, in an unprovoked attack at his home address, and suffocated him during a struggle on the ground.
After a three-day trial, the defendant was unanimously acquitted on both counts.
Danielle Byford was instructed by Michelle Breindel of Paul Robinson Solicitors.
