Sean Summerfield secures acquittal after 15 minutes of jury deliberations on charges of domestic burglary, ABH and vehicle taking.
The complainant accepted under cross-examination that she had lied in her various witness statements about entry to her property being forced, and further accepted that she had been involved in a fight resulting in injuries earlier that day when the defendant had not been present.
The defendant was released having spent the equivalent of a 12 month sentence in custody awaiting trial.
