Chris Kerr & Ali Dewji have Successfully Concluded the Prosecution of a £1.5m Case of Forex and Cryptocurrency Fraud

30 September 2025

Teenage trader, Morgan Reeve, obtained large sums of money from businessmen, traders and workers by promising them large and guaranteed returns from his activity trading on the foreign currency exchange and cryptocurrency markets. Instead, he spent their money on his own lavish lifestyle, which included supercars, private jets and hotel suites in London and Dubai.

Mr Reeve posed as a successful multimillionaire on social media to attract more investment and used some of this to pay others and keep his ‘Ponzi’ scheme running.

On Tuesday, he was unanimously convicted of fraud offences in relation to 19 out of 20 complainants following a 7-week trial at Norwich Crown Court. He will be sentenced in December.

Chris Kerr, leading Ali Dewji, was instructed by the CPS South East.
