Olivia commenced her pupillage with 187 chambers in September 2025.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Olivia worked as a prison law advocate at a leading prison law firm, where she represented numerous clients on a variety of different matters. This included at independent adjudications, Parole Board hearings and Category A reviews, through both oral and written representations. She attended prisons across the country to conduct conferences with clients convicted of a range of serious offences, including those confined to Close Supervision Centres and the Category A estate.
Olivia has extensive voluntary experience. She is currently a trustee for a multi academy school trust, where she sits on the Finance and Audit committee, and serves as the designated compliance trustee. Additionally, Olivia volunteers for the Schools Consent Project, delivering workshops to school children about the law on consent. During her undergraduate degree in Politics, Olivia volunteered for the Witness Service, offering practical and emotional support to witnesses due to give evidence at court. This experience has ensured that Olivia is comfortable working with vulnerable adults and children.
